    Zach Rich, a Jazz Studies doctoral student at the University of Northern Colorado, won first place in the American Society of Music Arrangers and Composers鈥 (ASMAC) Bill Conti Big Band Arranging and Composing Competition for his composition of 鈥淲e Love You Madly鈥 (dedicated to Duke Ellington).
